Our Achievements
On this page you will find a summary of our initiatives. Our ideas for helping others, which we first transformed into projects to finance and then realized thanks to the support of all our members.
On this page you will find the budget files of the nonprofit. Transparency: all funds collected are entirely spent, nothing remains in Italy.
Our spirit is: give the fishing rod, not the fish!

Thanks to the crowd-funding campaign of 1 Caffe.org and the fundraising by employees of Bun Burgers, Fra Diavolo, CioccolatItaliani, we financed the purchase of materials and food for the children's canteen in Ouagadougou. 1 meal a day for 300 children who attend school is guaranteed! We help those who cannot afford school.

In December at the Casa del Jazz, the beautiful concert by Marco Colonna and New Ethic Society allowed us to raise funds to help the children's canteen in Ouagadougou.
The support of Alice e il Vino @aliceeilvino and Caffe Marziali of Rome allowed us to raise funds, meet our members and sympathizers and exchange Christmas greetings.
We built the poultry farm in Ouagadougou which allows the poor children's canteen to have protein for meals and a source of income to support expenses.
The strong geopolitical instability has worsened the crisis in this country. Thanks to our supporters, we purchased the medicines needed for Pouponniere Joscheba and pack mules, which give work and dignity to many families in severe poverty.
2020 Our projects
The shops in Leo funded thanks to the generosity of the Kelly Deli Foundation are fully operational and support the expenses of the malnutrition center: over 40 orphans can be cared for and fed.
After many years of technical and environmental difficulties, we managed to start the Mill in Fada N'Gourma, a town in the southeast of the country without electricity, roads and infrastructure. The mill powered by an electric generator, the only one in the area, can grind feed for the farm, thus allowing better use of resources. We thank our members for their help and fundraising over the years.
We purchased the medicines needed for Pouponniere Joscheba for the whole year: only thanks to our supporters can orphans, widows and families in difficulty receive medical care.

Thanks to the donation from the Scalas family, it was possible to purchase milk and protein supplements for the program and the children of the Leo malnutrition center.

We financed the construction of two shops in Ouagadougou, in the Tampouy district, with €5,670.
Management is entrusted to the Sisters of the Immaculate Conception who with the rental income will support the Poor Children's Canteen.
Another example of development cooperation.

We financed the adoption of 30 children who will be able to attend school and have a meal a day at the Mission of the Sisters of Tampouy in Ouagadougou (Burkina Faso).
2014
We contributed to the construction of a Mill to support the orphanage of Fada N'Gourma (Burkina Faso) which has more than 50 children. This represents a fundamental infrastructure in the rural and backward area, where seeds are still broken by hand, with great waste and expenditure of energy.
2013
In 2013 we financed two scholarships for nursing specialization and the construction of a canopy for the Leo Mission (southern Burkina Faso) for the malnourished children's center. The specialization course lasts two years.
The center welcomes mothers in difficulty and teaches them how to balance the diet of malnourished children, thanks to the presence of a nurse and the sisters of the Leo Mission; every year over 500 children are welcomed and followed on a weekly basis. The food supplement is provided by the FAO.
2012
On September 29, 2012, at the Land.it nursery, a charity aperitif was held, supported by the "Giovani per il Lazio" association in concert with the "Salva Mamme e Salva Bebe" association to support the "A roof for Leo" project, €1,082 were collected on this occasion, you can find the table of event costs in detail.
2011
In 2011 we built the poultry farm to support the Fada N'Gourma orphanage (Burkina Faso). We fully financed the construction of the farm, we paid for the consultancy of a local agronomist, purchased the stock of feed for the first months.
The farm produces 450 eggs a day which are all sold to support the abandoned children, guests of the orphanage (about 30 minors). At the end of the hens' life cycle, they are sold and the proceeds are used to buy chicks.
2010
At the end of 2010 we raised funds among friends and relatives and started the construction of a reception center for malnourished children, named after "Lidia Picchi" in Leo, in southern Burkina Faso. The center is located inside the Mission next to a first aid medical center, which welcomes Italian and French doctors with ophthalmic specialization.
The center welcomes malnourished children residing in the southern part of the country, very poor, backward and lacking public infrastructure (water, electricity). The center welcomes mothers in difficulty and teaches them how to balance the diet of malnourished children, thanks to the presence of a nurse and the sisters of the Leo Mission; every year over 500 children are welcomed and followed on a weekly basis. The food supplement is provided by the FAO.
In 2013 an obstetric medical center was also built thanks to the contribution of the Misericordia of Livorno and Florence.
In 2010 we financed and built the expansion of the vegetable garden for the Poor Children's Canteen in Tampouy, a district of Ouagadougou, capital of Burkina Faso. Thanks to the garden crops, the canteen, which daily provides a full meal to 300 children, was able to enrich the menu by including a greater amount of protein.
