In the OUR ACHIEVEMENTS section you will find further details on the status of our projects.
Poultry farming in Ouagadougou - 2021 and 2022 project
A poultry farm with over 1,000 chickens and hens. In addition to ensuring a greater presence of protein in the diet, the proceeds from the sale of eggs and chickens support the expenses of the poor children's canteen that provides a free meal to over 300 children every day; the canteen has no financial support other than ours.
Free access to the canteen is available to those who go to school; if the family doesn't have money for school, we support them with distance adoption (about 100 euros per year). Help us!
The benches of the children's canteen in Ouagadougou - 2020 project
The children's canteen of Tampouy in Ouagadougou welcomes 350 children for lunch from Monday to Saturday and offers them a free hot meal after school. For those who don't have money for school, with distance adoptions we manage to guarantee the necessary support. Children need education to grow up and become free men and women.
In 2020 we financed the purchase of tables, benches and new equipment for the canteen (€3,000). Thanks to our supporters, these children will be able to continue eating every day.
The Fada N'Gourma Mill - project funded in 2019
The feed mill in Fada N'Gourma built by our association (cost of about €11,500) is the only one in the area, has a great impact on the entire region, is powered by a diesel generator (paid €16,928.00) and supports the expenses of the Fada N'Gourma orphanage which hosts about 40 minors.
Poultry farming in Fada N'Gourma
Not just a simple chicken coop, but a real poultry farm with over 500 chickens and hens. The proceeds from the sale of eggs and chickens support the expenses of the Fada N'Gourma orphanage, which hosts about 40 orphans who have no financial support other than ours. Help us!
Thanks to this solidarity enterprise, we manage not only to support charitable work, but also to provide jobs and stimulate the local economy. The farm stems from a project initiated by the University of Tuscia, was designed by a local agronomist, is managed by the Sisters of the Immaculate Conception and two workers are employed there.
In the Trip to Africa 2012 section you will find testimony on the status of the work.
The shops for children in Leo - project funded in 2018 and 2017
The project involves the construction of four shops in Leo (Map), in the south of the country, where there is a reception center for malnourished children and a mission of the Sisters of Santa Maria Goretti. The Kellydeli Foundation fully funded the project.
Thanks to the shop rentals, it will be possible to pay for the expenses of the center for fighting child malnutrition such as milk and other pediatric foods. The goal is to provide concrete help by allowing the sisters to have a stable income without having to depend on donations.
Center for malnourished children in Leo in memory of "Lidia Picchi"
The center for fighting malnutrition operates at full capacity, welcomes women and children in severe malnutrition and puts them in a food aid plan, under FAO control.
Leo is one of the poorest provinces of Burkina Faso, much of the population lacks running water and electricity. The center has saved at least 100 children from certain death by malnutrition in 2012 alone, according to statistics provided by the nurse operating in the center and processed by Catia Ciprianetti.
The shops in Ouagadougou - project funded in 2016 and 2017
The project involves the construction of two shops near the mission of the Sisters of Santa Maria Goretti in Ouagadougou in the Tamopuy district; with the rental income we will finance the expenses of the poor children's canteen, which provides a meal to about 200 children from Monday to Saturday, often their only meal.
Click to see on the map where the shops will be built.
The work will be carried out under the supervision of the sisters and in the 2018 trip we witnessed their completion. The cost is about €5,800, the area where the shops are built is commercially viable, near the Town Hall, schools and an important market, rental possibilities are good and allow an excellent return on investment.
The Joscheba Infirmary
With your donations we support the activities of the infirmary and the supply of pediatric medicines of the Pouponnière Joscheba in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso. About 50 children are hosted and over 100 families who don't have money to buy pediatric medicines for the treatment of Malaria, dysentery and fever are helped. Help us!
Training of professional nurses - 2013-2015 project
The rural areas of Burkina Faso, in addition to the lack of infrastructure (water, electricity), suffer from a shortage of professional figures for agriculture, health, and education. For the 2013-15 period, we financed the professional training of two nurses to be assigned to the Leo hospital, Burkina Faso.
